On Saturday May 23rd from 6pm till 7pm, wine supplier Pepia Est is hosting a virtual Food & Wine Tasting. Sommelier Raymond Kok is pairing three excellent French wines with a special French 3-course menu of Cuminda Na Cas. The price for the food menu only is AWG 37,50. The total package, which includes the three bottles of wine and the 3-course meal is AWG 112,50.
You will start off with a fresh herb salad with goat cheese rolls. This appetizer is paired with LaCheteau Muscadet Sèvre Et Maine from Loire. Followed by the second course: Pesto pasta with mussels which is paired with Fleurs de Prairie Rosé from Côtes de Provence. The meal is completed with the main course: filet mignon (4oz) in a red-wine sauce served with ratatouille and mashed potatoes. This main entrée is perfectly paired with Château La Nerthe Côtes-du-Rhône from Rhône Valley.
