A bubbly experience

On Saturday June 27th from 6pm till 7pm, wine supplier Pepia Est is hosting a virtual Food & Wine Tasting: the Sparkling Experience. Sommelier Raymond Kok is pairing three excellent sparkling wines with a special 3-course menu of Cuminda Na Cas. The price for the food menu is AWG 42,-. The combination of the meal with 3 paired bottles of wine is AWG 192,-.

You will start off with octopus and prosciutto ham with a dressing with chorizo and lentils. The paired wine: Villa Sandi prosecco from Italy.

Second course: Homemade ciabatta, Dutch soused herring (Hollandse Nieuwe), red beet salsa and an onion mousse. Paired wine: Moltó Negre Cava Brut from Casa Rojo in Spain.

Third course: smoked tenderloin, glazed zucchini, pommes duchesses and a creamy white wine sauce. Paired wine: Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne from Epernay in France.
